[WIP] Masks

Well here I bring some of the masks that I have in progress. So far none is completely finished. To all lack something: dry, add details ...

The first is this one, a mix of fimo, foam, light clay, beads and feathers. Lack paint and add the strings:

Then I created this one, which I just need to add the strings to finish. 'Cause although this may seem it's still in the process of drying, I must say that is because this photo was taken a few days ago:

And this picture is from today. Both are now in drying process. A half mask that mimics a flower and a full mask:

All my masks are designed over an original Blythe faceplate, to ensure that all them fits perfectly to the face of our girls.

The clay I used for trunk mask, flower half mask and forest mask is ultra lightweight, flexible and non-staining. You can see the video I made to demonstrate their flexibility in my Facebook page.

Masks and more

Hi!

Here we go again! I decided to divide my days into two slots. I'll crochet in the morning and in the afternoon I'll be designing masks and fantastic costumes.

Masks and fantastic costumes? Yes! I decided to create a fantastic collection full of magical creatures and fairytale costumes. Trolls, children of the forest, fairies ... All fit in this new collection.

Here you have a picture of the progress of one of the masks I'm designing. This one is made with light clay, craft foam, beads and wire. Soon I will upload more photos with other designs and other materials.

The photo shows the work done yesterday afternoon, while watching "Sea Patrol" instead hahahaha This morning I tried to create a new Peter Pan collar in Blythe size. But the trial don't look as nice as the first one I made (Middie / Blyh / PiccoNeemo size). I tried to transform a pattern that was done for person into Blythe size but ...Judge for yourselves!

BlytheCon Barcelona 2014

BlytheCon Barcelona comes back the next 2014 on 3rd May and, as crafter, I decided take part of the event asking for a vendor stall!! :D
I hope I can organize my life and stuff before 3rd May, 'cause I'm really excited!! It will be incredible!

Work in Progress

The last week I started my crochet lessons. Since now I'd learn a lot!
